Fiona Maynard began her hairdressing career in the 80's - big hair, lots of drama! Exploring all aspects of hairstyling; photographic and presentation work, to a high national and international standard. Fiona's work was published in leading hair magazines throughout the 90s. Along with winning the L'Oreal Colour Trophy, two years running, with her Scottish team. Full C.V on request.
In the mid 90's Fiona qualified as a professional make-up artist for Film & TV, subsequently working with make-up designers on features; such as Gangster No1, Magdalene Sisters, Eragon and well-known TV dramas; Teachers, Monarch of the Glen and Casualty, as well as being a Make-up Designer in her own right. In recent years Fiona has become a part of the Bath Academy of Media Make-up (BAMM) training team as a valued and experienced tutor.
Her expertise in styling historical hair and also sharing the basic principles of hair, have been put to very good use within this award winning private establishment.
Fiona has a passion for styling and creating innovative looks; be they for advertising, commercial, bridal or private clients.
Along with her expertise in period, contemporary, fashion and editorial work, Fiona is contstantly updating her skills base. Most recently; styling and dressing Afro hair and Airbrushing courses, both of which have proved invaluable in her working practice.
